We welcome applications to exhibit from artists and makers.
We spend a lot of time searching for artists and makers we’d like to work with and represent and we welcome contact from artists and makers who’d like us to represent them and sell work on their behalf. In the first instance, we ask you to send us images of recent work, an artists statement and your CV – particularly indicating where you trained and where you’ve exhibited. This information is usually found on your website, though if you don’t have one we’re happy to receive your information via e-mail – we can’t view CDs. We aim to carefully consider all applications sent to us and to provide constructive feedback where appropriate and possible. To see if your work is appropriate to what we do, you can research us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and ISSUU
Please note that we are unable to look at physical work before we’ve had time to consider it online.
What the Artists Say
I have worked with gallerytop for over eight years, from the beginning they have always been very professional and totally reliable. Their marketing and publicity has been excellent and I can always guarantee when they say something is going to happen it does. Payment for work sold is always on time and the commission charged is fair and consistent. Gill, Keith and Alison, are not only hard working gallery owners, but artists in their own right and as such have a direct appreciation of the creative process and have a sympathetic understanding of what is involved with the process of making original art works. The gallery always feels welcoming and friendly and they are always willing to discuss new ideas or any concerns you may have.
In the past few years while my painting practice has been developing, gallerytop has remained a constant source of encouragement and opportunity, offering welcome advice when required and always seeking exhibition possibilities for all aspects of my work. It is no understatement to say this has been an essential part of my professional career as a successful artist.
I work constantly hard to provide paintings on time for my galleries and it is important to me that they stay in regular contact so that I feel valued and motivated. And I definitely want to be paid on time! I get all of this from Gill and Keith at gallerytop – they fully understand both sides of the business and I’m looking forward to a long partnership!
“I’ve been making and selling my sculptures for over 25 years now, both here and
abroad. I have dealt with all sorts of galleries. Gallerytop has sustained a diverse
and quality programme of exhibitions over the years. It is good to be part of what
they are doing”
